On our part

On our part, in spite of this period of economic crisis ,for disabled people it is possible to obtain interesting contributions for the removal of architectural barriers in private structures. The law n.13 of 1989 is the principle legal instrument used against all forms of architectural barriers in Italy.

The said law concedes in fact, contributions towards works finalized in overcoming architectural barriers in private structures already existent, where are resident persons with physical impediments or permanently limited bodily functions (either motor disabilities or blind).

Unfortunately persons living in ALER housing or council houses cannot request the above mentioned concessions.

The request must be forwarded to the local town hall of residence by the 1st of March of each year and is easily filled in.
